About Divine Foot Spa
“The journey of a thousand miles begins beneath one’s feet” –Lao-Tzu, Chinese Philosopher
Having worked in the restaurant and service industry, I was always on my feet for more than 12 hours a day, sometime 7 days a week. Everyday my body would be exhausted and my poor feet would ache from being on them all day. As a child, I remembered my parents frequenting traditional reflexology massage retreats in China with friends and business associates as a weekly ritual and they continue to do so to this day. Remembering how refreshed and rejuvenated they look afterward, I decided to give my sand kickers a try. After my first experience with receiving a warm herbal feet soaking, an awesome pressure point feet massage, and an all over deep body relaxation massage, my plum pluckers felt great immediately! With my new found love for Chinese foot reflexology, I started to do extensive research into the ancient art of reflexology, alternative healing, traditional herbs and essential oils. I worked many years as a certified massage therapist and I always had the dream to open my own place. With the help of amazing and caring, professionals that share my vision, I opened a foot sanctuary in Huntington Beach, CA. I wanted people to feel very special and offer them an unforgettable service and experience at our Huntington Beach foot massage retreat.

Once you’ve tried our signature foot massage, we are sure you’ll come back with friends. Although improvement may occur after just one treatment, it is important to have a course of at least one treatment per week and no less than two treatments per month to ensure that the improvements achieved are maintained. In between treatments, we recommend the following foot care for a healthy life and happy feet.
Be good to your feet for they carry you on your life’s journey and are the gate to your soul:
- Wash them daily. Rinse off all soap and dry thoroughly, especially between toes.
- Trim the nails but not too short. Don’t cut out or dig at corners.
- If you wear socks or stockings, change them daily. Don’t wear any that are too tight. Natural cotton socks are great because they allow air to circulate around the feet and it wicks away moisture.
- Wear shoes that fit. Tight shoes can cause bunions, calluses and more.
For sweaty feet and athlete’s feet, these tips may help:
- Wash your feet—you may shower in the morning, but you should give them another wash at night.
- Wear shoes made of leather or canvas – not synthetics. Sandals are great for aerating your feet.
- Freshen up your shoes—switch up your shoes from day to day.
- Use a good foot powder that will take away the odors
- Rub them with rubbing alcohol to kill bacteria and fungus
- And of course, use good judgment: See your doctor if severe problems persist.
